My office will be opening June 2024, and will provide a tranquil and welcoming environment for in-person sessions. Upon scheduling your appointment, you will receive detailed directions and parking information.

Virtual

I offer virtual therapy through Zoom for those who prefer the convenience of remote sessions. Connect with us from the comfort of your own space.

  • Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. You can share what brings you to therapy, and I’ll explain how I work. This session is about building comfort and trust, with no pressure to dive deeper than you're ready for. We’ll discuss your goals and how we can work together to achieve them.

  • Each session typically lasts for about 50 minutes. This duration allows us to dive into your experiences and work towards your healing without feeling rushed.

  • Of course, it is! Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. What we talk about in sessions stays between us, with the exception of certain legal and ethical obligations to report, like imminent harm to yourself or others.

  • If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just not like your usual self, therapy can offer support. It's also beneficial if you're facing significant life changes, dealing with trauma, or looking to grow personally. Remember, seeking therapy is a sign of strength, not weakness.

  • The frequency of our sessions depends on your unique needs and goals. To start, we might meet weekly to build momentum. As you make progress, we might shift to bi-weekly or monthly sessions. We’ll regularly assess what frequency feels right for you.

  • I understand life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment incur a $75 fee, and cancellations made within 4 hours of your appointment and no-shows are charged at the full session rate.

  • Yes, I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone. I offer a sliding scale fee for those in need. Please contact me to discuss your situation and determine how I can accommodate you.

  • While I do not bill insurance directly, I can provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Through Alma, I can also accept Aetna, Cigna, and Optum. Please check with your insurance provider regarding out-of-network benefits for mental health services.

  • My therapeutic toolbox is extensive, including CBT, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and more. I tailor my approach based on your individual needs, ensuring that therapy is both personal and effective.

  • Booking a session is easy. You can schedule a free consultation call directly through my online booking system, or reach out through my contact page. If you have specific scheduling needs or questions, don't hesitate to get in touch.

  • Yes, I offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions. Virtual sessions are conducted via Zoom, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort of your home.
